Clean Water Cause (Liquid Water)

Besides all the great fashions and wonderful vendors at The 2nd Annual Fashion Compassion Runway Event, the event did benefit a great cause called Liquid Water. This non-profit organization definitely desired a post by itself separate from the event post that I previously wrote about.

Let me explain a little bit more about this organization… Liquid Church is a non-denominational Christian church with three locations across New Jersey. They have a passion for bringing clean drinking water to children and families in need in developing nations.  They have drilled dozens of wells and completed projects in Ethiopia, Central African Republic, Uganda, Haiti and El Salvador. They believe a cup of cold water can change the world, one life at a time.

They started www.LiquidWater.com as a 501© (3) non-profit to empower ordinary people and other organizations to join the clean water movement. Did you know that 1 in 9 people worldwide still do not have access to clean drinking water?

What they have done so far since 2009 through 2012; $713,000 has been invested in the clean water cause from drilling wells, purchasing equipment to supporting a village and helping others. As I mentioned above they have drilled 41 wells, 10 wells have been repaired ad 5 wells are planned for 2013. In El Salvador alone 5 wells were drilled and 3 more wells are planned to be drilled in 2013, in Nicaragua 2 wells are planned to be drilled in 2013, in Hati 4 wells are drilled and 10 wells have been repaired, in Central African Republic 2 wells drilled, in Uganda 3 wells have been drilled and in Ethiopia 27 wells were drilled.

They have brought clean water directly to more than 15,000 people drilling and repairing wells and through their partnership with Charity: Water they have donated $100,000 which was used to provide the 4,000 residents of Paclos, Haiti with a spring protection system, BioSand, filters and latrines as well as hygiene training.

The 2nd Annual Fashion Compassion Runway Event

On Friday September 20, I was invited to attend The 2nd Annual Fashion Compassion Runway Event hosted by Lea Rannells and The Art of Fashion Productions. Lea Rannells is a Fashion Model, Lifestyle Expert, Freelance Writer/Author/Blogger she even specializes in Fashion Event Production & PR as well as being a role model to all women she was even featured as a model on Heidi Klum show Project Runway.

Before the start of the runway show, the event showcased several vendors which included; ChallengerFoods, Genesis Pure, Maddy-Lynn Designs, Independent Distributors, Fibi & Clo, Touchstone Crystal, Ellen’s Eye, Emily’s Designs and Star Doug.

One of the vendors that really touched my heart was Star Dog because there company gives a t-shirt to a child in need, every time one their customer buys a Star Dog shirt. If you like to find out more information on how to purchase one these shirts or just want to find out more information about the company you can visit their website: www.StarDogGives.com

The event was entertained by League One Music Group, they kept me dancing and singing to everyone beat and song that played. In addition, I like to give a special thanks to their Special Guest Nick Tangorra who is a rising pop rock music sensation. The music group has recently released their album “Teenage Love and Other Stories” and has been selling out shows at major venues lie Digifest and Webster hall NYC with Connor Maynard. You can follow Nick, Rafe, and Will through their facebook: www.facebook.com/NickTangorra, twitter: https://twitter.com/nicktangorra and their website: http://nicktangorra.com/ as well as downloading a  copy of their album on itunes: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/teenage-love-other-stories Overall, I must say this kid vocal cords are very impressive and he is going to go far in the music industry. Check out his video of his hit song "Teenage Love" that I provided below:

The runway show featured fashions from Mandee clothing stores and Jazmin Brown’s Deztani, I must say designers that are in the business now better move over and make room for this talent designer Jazmin Brown because at the age of 15 years old her techniques and vision to create such beautiful is such incredible at her age. Every piece of clothing that was featured on the models caught my eye every single time. This girl is going to have a bright future ahead of her below you can check out some of Jazmin Brown great pieces…

Overall, the event was such amazing experience especially since it was my first fashion show most likely won’t be my last but I definitely wish all the designers and vendors, special guest, entertainment the best of luck as well as the host Lea Rannells for inviting me to experience this great show.

RIP The Style Network!!!

After hearing and reading the devastating news about the style network has been replaced by esquire who is geared towards the minds of men. As a man you would think that I would be excited about a network geared towards men but honestly I am not at all excited but devastated. Like what is going to happen to some of my favorite shows on the style such as Giuliana and Bill, Tia and Tamera, Big Rich Texas and even Jerseylicious. How am I going to admire myself being an extra on the new season of Jerseylicious, when the network has been replace by a stupid men’s geared minded network. Honestly, in my opinion what man is even going to watch this new network, in my eyes this is going to be a complete fail for the NBC company because just like everything new they bring to the table always seems to fail or gets super boring really quick. I am now wondering what’s going to happen to my favorite shows where will they go, will the new season of Jerseylicious ever air, will my friends really believe that I was even on this show when it never made it TV. And another thing of course they wouldn’t cut an already geared men’s channel G4 but let’s cut the only channel that women and all forms of gender actually enjoy watching. Honestly, this is a sad day for every soul who watched the style network!!!

Welcome to The RCE

The RCE stands for The Red Carpet Experience, I decided to create this blog because I love to write and talk about anything hot topic wise whether its celebrity gossip, interviewing celebrities, attending book signings, going to fashion/awards shows and just my everyday life in general. I am not your typical 22 year man, I have experienced a lot of cool interesting things in life that would have never been possible if I didn’t put myself out there and started making these great connections. My motto in life is the key to success is “NETWORKING” and along with networking you have to be dedicated and motivated to succeed and that’s exactly what I have done with my 22 years of living. So, hopefully you enjoy my newest achievement as I write a blog on mostly everything that I experience. I’m pretty positive The RCE blog will be a big hit and extremely interesting….so enjoy!!!
